JobSeekerAI helps users review job-related emails, evaluate job opportunities, tailor resumes, and prepare job-search communications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.

This policy is a launch-ready template and should be reviewed before wider public launch, especially if the product is expanded to new jurisdictions or additional data sources.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect account information, resume/profile information, job descriptions, job-related messages, Gmail data needed for enabled features, usage/billing status, and technical logs such as request IDs and error metadata.

2. Gmail Data

If you connect Gmail, JobSeekerAI uses Gmail access only to provide job-search features you request, such as scanning relevant job messages, generating job-match insights, and creating draft responses. The application does not sell Gmail data.

Gmail permissions may include reading messages, composing drafts, and modifying messages only where required for enabled features. You may revoke access at any time through your Google Account permissions.

3. How We Use Information

To authenticate users and maintain account sessions.
To scan job-related emails and display job opportunities.
To tailor resumes and generate job-search assistance.
To create draft outreach or reply emails when Auto-Engage is enabled.
To manage subscription status, billing access, and usage limits.
To debug errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

4. AI Processing

JobSeekerAI may use AI providers to process user-provided resumes, job descriptions, and job-search content to generate summaries, match scores, tailored resume text, job chat responses, and draft communications.

5. Payments

Payments and subscription management are processed through Stripe. JobSeekerAI does not store full payment card numbers.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers only as needed to operate the product, including hosting, authentication, database, payment, email, logging, and AI infrastructure providers.

7. Data Retention and Choices

We retain information as needed to provide the service, comply with obligations, prevent abuse, and maintain business records. You can revoke Gmail access through Google, stop using Auto-Engage, manage billing through Stripe where available, or request account/data deletion by contacting support.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect user data. No system is perfectly secure, and users should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information.
