Why JobSeekerAI requests Gmail access
Gmail read access lets Inbox Scan inspect candidate job messages on our backend. Scan content is not sent to AI providers, and Scan does not store message bodies. When you select a job for chat or tailoring, or authorize a recruiter conversation for the agent, relevant email content and resume information and applicable preferences are shared with OpenAI to provide those AI features. We do not use Google user data to train general-purpose AI models. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Gmail compose access lets JobSeekerAI create drafts and send replies on your behalf in the recruiter conversations you authorize. Connecting Gmail alone does not authorize autonomous sending. You can pause your agent, stop tracking conversations, or revoke Gmail access at any time. We do not sell your Gmail data.
